Market Update Chats with Chris & Colin

After a fantastic team meeting discussing the latest market trends, we decided to share our insights with you. This past week has been a busy one, with four conditional sales and a noticeable uptick in buyer activity. We’re seeing a range of dynamics – from competitive offers on new listings over a million dollars to increased interest in properties that have been on the market for a while. We’re also keeping a close eye on potential interest rate changes, with optimism around rates coming down soon. This could create more opportunities for both buyers and sellers in a market that feels balanced and full of potential.   I was a co-Executrix of an estate, and we had a condo that we had to sell for the estate.  In order to get the property ready for sale, we had to have the over 5,000 square foot condo painted and the carpets replaced.  Since the property was empty, Chris recommended a home stager that he uses on properties that require these services, and she did a fantastic job of staging the condo. It took the condo to the next level. The condo sold for a phenomenal price, and we were very happy with Chris Scott and his abilities.  He always gives over 100 percent to get the job done!   We worked with Rachel and she was beyond diligent. She is so organised and meticulous with details, it really helps when buying a home. She even agreed to do a virtual walk through for the home we ended up buying because we weren’t going to get there ourselves prior to offers being reviewed.   My husband and I purchased a house in the surrounding Ottawa area with the assistance of Colin from this group of individuals. We unfortunately were left with no choice but to purchase a home sight unseen due to our work circumstances. We originally considered not purchasing because of this.
