Suburban Statistics Update – August, 2026
Ottawa’s real estate market continues to tell a different story from one neighbourhood to the next. While city-wide statistics provide a useful snapshot, sales activity, pricing trends, and buyer demand can vary significantly across individual communities.
In this August edition of our Suburban Statistics Series, we’re taking a closer look at five of Ottawa’s major suburban markets to see how each has performed so far in 2026. Using MLS® sales reported through OREB, we’ve compared activity from January 1 to August 31, 2026, with the same period in 2025 to highlight the trends taking shape across Ottawa’s suburban communities.
